The shooting of Israel’s main airport left its mark on the period in which there were mutual showdowns between US and Israeli leaders Biden and Netanyahu. The statement regarding the attack, which had wide repercussions in the regional press, came from the Iraqi Islamic Resistance yesterday.
DRONE ATTACK ON BEN GURION INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
“Islamic Resistance fighters in Iraq targeted Ben Gurion Airport deep inside occupying Israel this evening, on Monday, March 11, 2024, with a drone,” the Iranian-backed group said in the statement.

It was stated that the attack was a part of the second phase of the operations carried out to support the Palestinian people in Gaza and to respond to Israel’s massacres of innocent civilians, and that its efforts to hit the enemy’s strongholds continued.
The Iraqi Islamic Resistance recently targeted oil refineries in Haifa, an Israeli intelligence base in the north of the Golan Heights, and a military zone at Rosh-Pina Airport.
