Israel’s National Security Council made a written statement on the issue.
The statement stated that “violence and antisemitism against Israelis and Jews have increased worldwide” due to Israel’s attacks on Gaza, and asked Israelis to increase their precautions during their travels.
Accordingly, the travel warning level for many countries in Western Europe, including the UK, France and Germany, some countries in South America, including Argentina and Brazil, as well as Australia and Russia, has been increased to 2.

Israeli citizens in these countries were advised to take additional precautions.
While the statement called for a review of the obligation to travel abroad, the warning was renewed to “postpone travel to countries with travel warnings, especially Arab countries, the Middle East, the North Caucasus and countries neighboring Iran.”
In addition, the statement recommended that “stay away from demonstrations and protests, be alert and pay attention to what is happening around”, and asked Israelis to “avoid openly displaying Israeli and Jewish symbols”.
