Israeli warplanes launched more than 80 airstrikes in 30 minutes on areas and valleys between the towns of Az-Zarrariya and Ansar in the southern province of An-Nabatiya. The strikes targeted many points, including the areas around the towns of Abba, Jabshid, Al-Sharqiya, An-Namriyah, Kafer Tanbit, Nabatiya al-Fawqa, Dayr al-Zahrani, Rumin, Humin al-Fawqa, Yahmur, Arnun and Sajd, the Kafer Rumman highway, the hills in the At-Tuffah region and Mount Er-Rayhan.
At the same time, Israel carried out airstrikes in many areas in the east of the country, such as Bekaa, Shamstar, Budayi, An-Nabi Seth and Bealbek.
Israeli warplanes also heavily bombed the Litani River bed and areas east of Sur in the outskirts of Ad-Delafe in southern Lebanon.
ISRAEL’S AIR RAID ON BEIRUT
In the airstrike carried out by the Israeli army in southern Beirut on September 20, 45 people, including 3 children and 7 women, were killed.
Hezbollah announced that 15 of its members, including senior military commander Ibrahim Akil, were killed in the attack.
A total of 84 people were killed in the Beirut attack that followed the explosion of pagers and radios in Lebanon on September 17-18.
Since October 8, 2023, clashes have occasionally escalated between the sides on the Israel-Lebanon border.
