Israel has shot down a drone on its way to Eilat.
The IDF suspects it came from Yemen.
The Israeli army says it shot down a “suspicious object” outside the coastal city of Eilat this evening. It was probably a drone.

The drone entered Israeli airspace from the Red Sea and was shot down from one of the Navy’s corvettes. According to the military, it probably came from Yemen.
The operation is said to be the second successful one for the C-Dome system.
No air traffic alert was sounded in Eilat as it was judged that the drone posed no danger. This is because it was shot down in an early position.
