Israel says the Golan attack crossed all borders – a warning from Iran | News in brief

12 people were killed when a rocket hit near a soccer field in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. Israel counterattacked, to which Iran reacted nervously.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry says Lebanon’s Hezbollah organization “crossed all boundaries” with a rocket attack on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights that killed 12 people.

– It is not about an army fighting another army, but a terrorist organization deliberately shooting civilians, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs writes in a statement.

Hezbollah has not announced that it was behind the attack that killed children and young people, so there is still no definite evidence for Israel’s claims of Hezbollah’s involvement.

During the night, Israel carried out several airstrikes “deep into Lebanon” in response. This in turn caused Israel’s arch-enemy Iran to get on the back foot.

– Any indifferent countermeasures by the Zionist regime can lead to the growth of instability, insecurity and war in the region, Iran’s foreign minister Nasser Kanani comment.

According to Kanan, Israel will be responsible for the “unprecedented consequences” that may arise from counterstrikes.
