Israel resumes release of prisoners

Israel paused the release of Palestinian prisoners included in the settlement with Hamas after dissatisfaction with the conditions when the hostage was released.

But on Thursday afternoon, buses with Palestinian prisoners left an Israeli prison on the West Bank, following guarantees from Hamas.

In Thursday’s round, the third since the ceasefire in the Gaza war began, the Palestinian militia groups would release eight from their hostage, while Israel would release 110 Palestinians from Israeli prisons.

And in the beginning everything went according to plan. The Red Cross got an address in Jabalia in the Northern Gaza Strip to go to. There, militants left the young soldier Agam Berger.

“In our forces”

The aid organization’s cars could then bring Berger to Israel. “Her family has been updated by authorities that she is now with our strengths,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu writes to the media.

Then they directed the terrorist -stamped Palestinian militias instead of the Red Cross to the southernmost parts of the Gaza strip, where the Israelis Yehoud and Moses as well as the five Thai then Pongsak, Sathian Suwannakham, Sriaoun Watchara, Seatha Bannao Surasakt.

All eight were robbed in connection with the major attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, which became the beginning of the war.

According to Israel, 29-year-old Arbel Yehoud would have been released already last week, when four female soldiers-captured together with Agam Berger-were instead handed over.

“Shocking scenes”

Israel then pointed out that Hamas broke his part of the settlement, which states that civilians should be released first. This led to Israel briefly paused the plan to let hundreds of thousands of Palestinians return to their homes in the Northern Gaza Strip.

Benjamin Netanyahu later stated that he had received guarantees about the safe release of hostages in the future and white buses were then appeared to leave the west on the West Bank.
