The content of Israel’s recent report has not satisfied all residents of Israel’s kibbutzim.
The Israeli army has published the first information from its report on the country’s preparation for the terrorist attack by the extremist organization Hamas on October 7 last year.
In its report, Israel states that it failed to protect the residents of Be’er Kibbutz, where Hamas killed more than 100 people and took dozens of hostages.
The Israeli military was unprepared for the rapid influx of a large number of Hamas terrorists into Israel. The country had too few soldiers in the border areas of Gaza and did not have a good enough picture of the situation in the early hours of the attack to be able to react strongly enough to the threat.
The content of the report published by Israel has not satisfied all residents of Israel’s kibbutzim.
– I didn’t need all these details. The only thing that matters to me is how we avoid a repeat of what happened, how we get the hostages back and how we should act so that we can feel safe again, a kibbutz resident Miri Gad Mesika says the Reuters news agency.
