Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s staff said early Monday that the military had presented a plan for the evacuation of civilians from Gaza along with an “operational plan.”
“The Israeli army has submitted to the war cabinet a plan to evacuate the population from war zones in Gaza, along with the plan for the upcoming operation,” said a statement in Hebrew from Netanyahu’s staff.
The statement comes as Israel threatens a full-scale invasion of Gaza’s southernmost town of Rafah.
