Stateside Joe Biden the administration announced on Friday that Israel may have used American weapons in a manner “contrary” to its obligations under international law.

However, the US State Department’s report does not directly claim that Israel has violated international humanitarian law.

According to the report, Israel’s actions in Gaza raise questions about the use of weapons, but there is insufficient evidence of violations to, for example, suspend arms deliveries.
