On March 18, Israel’s military stormed the al-Shifa hospital in Gaza.

After almost two weeks, the Israeli army confirms that it is leaving al-Shifa hospital in Gaza, reports AFP.
According to Israel, they will also withdraw from the area.
“The forces killed terrorists in close combat, found a number of weapons and intelligence documents in the hospital,” writes the Israeli military on social media.
Dozens of corpses are said to have been found in and near the hospital. According to the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health, at least 60 people have died during the night to Monday.
Witnesses have said that the hospital was set on fire. Air raids and shell fire have also shaken the area.

Israel has previously claimed that 200 militant extremists were killed at al-Shifa. However, the information has not been able to be officially confirmed by independent sources.
