Forced displacement has become a part of life for Palestinians in Gaza, where about 2.3 million people live. Since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023, about 2 million Palestinians in Gaza have been forcibly displaced.
Millions of Palestinians have been forced to flee the Israeli army’s attacks many times. Israel, which has repeatedly displaced Palestinians who fled the attacks to Khan Younis and Rafah in southern Gaza, continues to force the people of the region into forced migration.
Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee also made a statement on the X social media platform on July 1, asking Palestinians to immediately evacuate the areas east of Khan Younis for their safety.
