Israeli warplanes bombed another mosque in the blockaded Gaza Strip. The news was announced in a written statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Gaza.
THERE ARE PEOPLE INJURED
It was stated that Israeli warplanes carried out an air attack on the Mohammed Fatih Mosque in Beit Lahya, in the north of the Gaza Strip. It was stated that the mosque was completely destroyed in the attack and there were people injured in the incident.
While the Ministry did not provide information on the number of mosques destroyed in Israel’s ongoing attacks since October 7, the Ministry of Foundations in Gaza had previously announced that more than 30 mosques were targeted, some of them were completely destroyed, and some were severely damaged.

Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack on Israel on the morning of October 7. The Israeli army also started intense air strikes on the Gaza Strip. Israeli officials announced that 1,400 Israelis, including 311 soldiers, were killed and 5,132 people were injured in the attacks carried out from Gaza. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, the number of people killed in Israeli attacks increased to 8 thousand 5, including 3 thousand 342 children and 2 thousand 262 women, while 20 thousand 242 people were injured.
In the attacks of Israeli forces and Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank, 116 Palestinians died and more than 1,900 Palestinians were injured. During the Israeli bombardment, 34 journalists lost their lives in Gaza and 1 journalist in Lebanon. Due to Israel’s intense attacks in the blockaded Gaza Strip, landline, mobile phone and internet communication services in the region have come to a halt. The Israeli army began to expand limited ground operations on October 26 and further increased the dose of air attacks.
Shifa Hospital, the largest health facility in Gaza with thousands of injured and civilians, was also targeted by the Israeli army. (AA)
