Syrian official news agency SANA stated that explosion sounds were heard in the central region of the country. The news said, “Our air defense systems resisted enemy missiles.” The expression was used.
It was also stated on social media accounts close to the Syrian administration that explosions were heard in the Homs province of Syria. On the other hand, no statement was made by Israel on the issue.
Israel has been carrying out occasional attacks on Iranian-backed groups and military points belonging to the Syrian army in Syria since the civil war began in 2011.

The Israeli army, which has been continuing controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, launched hundreds of air strikes on Lebanon’s southern cities as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions on September 23.
According to Lebanese authorities, a total of 1411 people, including 104 children and 194 women, have died since September 17, when the communication devices used by Hezbollah were detonated.
