At least 10 Palestinians have been killed in “wide-scale” attacks launched by the Israeli army in the West Bank, while hospitals in the city of Tulkerim have been laid siege.
SIMULTANEOUS ATTACKS BEGAN IN TWO CITIES
The Israeli state television channel KAN reported that Israeli security forces took simultaneous action in the West Bank cities of Jenin and Tulkerim. It was also stated that combat helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were deployed to support the Land Forces.
In a written statement made by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, it was shared that 2 people were killed and 3 people were injured in the raid carried out by Israeli soldiers in the city of Jenin.
HOSPITAL UNDER SIEGE
According to the news in the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, the Israeli army entered the city of Jenin with a large number of armored vehicles and positioned itself near the Ibn Sina Hospital.
The Israeli army targeted a vehicle with a missile fired from a UAV south of the city of Jenin. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that they found the dead bodies of three people in the vehicle.
Israeli forces entered the city of Tulkerim in the northern West Bank from the west and raided and besieged hospitals in the city. Israeli soldiers prevented ambulances from being used and searched some of them.
A drone attack was carried out on the Nur Shams Refugee Camp in Tulkerim. It was reported that there were wounded as a result of the attack, but ambulances could not enter because Israel had surrounded the area.
The Israeli army, which also raided the Faria Refugee Camp in the city of Tubas in the northern West Bank, continues its intensive flights in the region with UAVs.
It was reported that two young people lost their lives and some were injured in the UAV attack on the Faria Refugee Camp, while it was noted that Palestinian Red Crescent teams had difficulty reaching the wounded in the region due to Israeli obstacles.
Israeli soldiers also raided Palestinian homes in the West Bank city of Qalqilya.
Meanwhile, Palestinian resistance groups also made statements that they had clashed with Israeli soldiers.
