Israel attacked 3 hospitals in Gaza: Some children were injured

Munir Abdullah al-Bursh, Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, stated in his statement to the AA correspondent that the Israeli army targeted Kemal Advan, Al-Awde and Indonesian hospitals with artillery fire.

CHILDREN WERE INJURED

Sharing the information that he opened fire on hospitals, Burş said that the electricity generators and water tanks at Kemal Advan Hospital were damaged and some children in the neonatal unit were injured in the attacks.

Pointing out that the hospitals were targeted during the visit of a delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Committee of the Red Cross, Burş added that Israel was trying to impose a new situation by collapsing the health system.

A CHILD’S CONDITION IS SERIOUS

Kemal Advan Hospital Director Husam Abu Safiyye shared the information that one of the injured children was in serious condition.

Stating that bullets and cannonballs rained on them from everywhere, Abu Safiyye stated that there were 120 patients and injured people in the hospital, including 19 children and 4 newborns.

On the other hand, the management of Al-Awde Hospital, in a written statement, asked WHO and the International Committee of the Red Cross to supply medical supplies and fuel to the hospital.

In the statement, it was emphasized that the hospital has not received fuel since October 5 and that the stocks are about to run out, and that there is an urgent need for medicines, medical supplies, blood units, food and water to continue the health service.
