Israel and the IDF with new attacks on Hamas and Gaza

During the night, Israel attacked several Hamas targets again.
The military IDF states that it has attacked hundreds of places that act as “terrorist nests”.
Over a quarter of a million people are fleeing the Gaza Strip, according to the UN.

More than 1,200 people have been killed on the Israeli side in the war against Hamas, according to Israel’s military, the IDF.

An “overwhelming majority” of them are civilians, military spokesman Jonathan Conricus said in a recorded statement posted on social media Wednesday morning.

On Tuesday, the UN’s humanitarian aid agency, OCHA, had counted at least 900 Israelis killed. During Wednesday, the IDF announced that the death toll has risen to 1,300 people.

New attacks on Hamas targets

Israel has during the night and morning directed new attacks against Hamas targets in and around Gaza, writes the newspaper Haaretz. Among other things, they attacked 70 locations used by the terror-labeled group to attack Israel.

In addition, the IDF again attacked a neighborhood in Gaza that serves as a “terror nest,” according to a statement. It is the third attack in the last 24 hours.

At the same time, the UN agency OCHA reports that over 260,000 people have been forced to flee the Gaza Strip due to attacks by Israel. In total, approximately two million people live in the area.
