(Finance) – “Today at the MEF we met the Deputy Ministers Maria Teresa Bellucci and Maurizio Leo in a appointment dedicated to the complexities that families have to face in everyday life. In particular, it was agreed on criticality of the demographic winter that our country is facing, on the need to identify new resources to dedicate to the revival of births and the connection of actions relating to tax reform, Single Allowance, ISEE reform, in a medium-term perspective”. “During the meeting the focus was on urgent need for an ISEE reform which the Forum of Family Associations has been requesting for many years, pointing out its numerous limitations, especially regarding the equivalence scales used, the heavy impact of the first home, the use of net rather than gross incomes, but also for much more. Without going into the specifics of the emerging issues, we were satisfied with the willingness of the Deputy Ministers to address this issue which is so important for families and to set up an inter-ministerial technical working table on the specific topic of the ISEE reform. The Deputy Ministers asked for the Forum’s willingness to make available to the soon-to-be-established technical table the dossier containing the requests of Italian families, validated by the association’s technicians, where the critical issues collected in listening campaigns and also some possible proposals find space.” , concludes Bordignon.
