Isak’s Newcastle storms towards the Champions League

Then the home team took the lead via an own goal signed by Brighton’s German striker Deniz Undav after 22 minutes of play. Just over 20 minutes later, Dan Burn extended the score to 2–0.

At the beginning of the second half, Undav scored again, this time in the right box, and reduced the score to 1–2.

In the final minutes, Callum Wilson and Bruno Guimaraes scored each, which meant the final score was 4–1.

Newcastle’s victory means that they remain third in the Premier League table – three points ahead of Manchester United, who have played one fewer game, however. Brighton are sixth.

The top four teams qualify for the Champions League.

Two rounds remain.
