The 67-year-old actress therefore interprets it over three decades. However, it has not been digitally rejuvenated, as she explains in an interview with Parisian : “there was no digital editing on this series. The image is only due to the good light, the good focal lengths… And then, I have been working with the same make-up artist, Laurence Azouvy, for a very long time.” So natural, or almost!
In Diana of Poitiers, Isabelle Adjani is making her return to television to play the favorite of King Henry II. There followed rivalries within the court and various royal machinations to bring out this mysterious figure in the history of France. In the cast of the France 2 series, Isabelle Adjani gives the reply to Hugo Becker (I promise you), Samuel Labarthe (The Little Murders of Agatha Christie), Virginie Ledoyen, Jeanne Balibar, Gérard Depardieu or Guillaume Gallienne.
