Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko spoke at a program organized for National Unity Day. He stated that Belarus was and continues to be a supporter of peace. Stressing that they do not want war, Lukashenko expressed his belief that peace will prevail in neighboring states and that a day will come when peoples will live in harmony and friendship. Lukashenko stated that they are doing everything to build such a world.
“OUR ALLIES AND MANY COUNTRIES ARE WITH US.”
Stating that they continue to defend the idea of multipolarity and diversity, Lukashenko said, “You know who is against multipolarity. But this can no longer be prevented. We will definitely find a way out of the global security crisis. Because our closest allies and many countries are with us.”
Lukashenko pointed out that peaceful approaches are not a sign of weakness and said that they will be able to respond to external aggression more than ever before.
Lukashenko noted that those who fled the country and their Western handlers had begun developing an action plan to stir up society again ahead of the country’s presidential elections.
IS THE BELARUSIAN ARMY ON ALERT?
Lukashenko said that the US had intelligence information that both Moscow and Kiev were expecting military tensions to increase on the fronts between mid-September and early November, and that Western intelligence agencies saw Belarus as a suitable place to escalate the situation because they wanted the war to continue.
“We will not do this (the Belarusian army entering the conflict) if other people’s boots do not set foot on our land,” Lukashenko said.
“RUSSIAN AND UKRAINIAN UAVS ARE LANDING ON MY LAND BECAUSE THEY ARE MISUSED”
Lukashenko claimed that the US had instructed Kiev to attack Belarus’ infrastructure on its southern border when the conditions were right, and that this was because Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were flying near Belarusian territory.
Lukashenko said that they had agreed with the Ukrainians through various channels not to highlight in the media the fact that both Russian and Ukrainian UAVs were flying over their territory, and that both Russian and Ukrainian sides were misusing the UAVs, and that as a result, UAVs from both sides were falling into Belarusian territory.
“THE USA PUT FORWARD CONDITIONS”
Claiming that the “puppet masters” in Washington were pushing Ukraine into a conflict with Belarus, Lukashenko said: “And I want to ask the Americans: Do you want peace, peaceful negotiations, or do you want the situation to escalate? I am not asking this for nothing. Because recently they have hinted at us about negotiations and even put forward conditions. We accepted it. How should we understand this now?”
HISTORY IS REPEATING
Belarusian leader Lukashenko reminded that his country is involved in large-scale conflicts because it is a place where all roads pass due to its location, and said, “History repeats itself. But I want to warn those who do not understand this, our opponents, our enemies. There is no need to do this. This will not benefit Europe and the entire world. An attack on Belarus would be World War III. Remember this.”
