According to the claims in social media and the press, a new mutation called “Delmicron”, which is a combination of Delta and Omicron variant, has emerged. Delmicron’s symptoms were described as persistent cough, headache, sore throat, changes in the sense of taste or smell, runny nose, and high fever.
However, while this new variant, whose origin is unknown, has begun to unsettle the public, many experts stated that there is no such variant in their statement. In addition, Indian health officials also announced that there is no such variant.
