A new regulation has been made for the PCR test, which is being done against the risk of Covid-19. Health Minister Koca made a statement after the Scientific Committee Meeting, “Our Scientific Committee has removed the PCR test requirement for screening purposes and in contact persons, taking into account the rules applied in developed countries and the level of prevalence of the disease.” he said.
Announcing the decisions taken in the Scientific Committee, Minister of Health Koca used the following expressions in his speech:
“Our Scientific Committee, taking into account the rules applied in developed countries and the level of prevalence of the disease, has removed the necessity of PCR testing for screening and contact persons. From now on, PCR testing will only be performed on people showing symptoms. I want you to know that we will continue to do our best to remove the epidemic from our agenda.”
ISOLATION TIME ALSO UPDATED
“In our scientific committee today, it has been decided not to quarantine the contacts who have had their vaccination and reminder dose. On the subject of isolation, all positive cases can come out of isolation without being tested after completing the isolation for 7 days.”
