Is the moralization of political life a failure

This is the great controversy of the new French government: the words of the Minister of National Education Amélie Oudéa-Castéra who withdrew her son from public school to place him in the private sector because of the “package of hours not seriously replaced” in the establishment concerned. The latter denied such an assertion, which discredits the management of the ministerial portfolio by Amélie Oudéa-Castéra.

At the same time, an appointment to the government is particularly commented on, that of the Minister of Culture Rachida Dati, indicted in the Carlos Ghosn affair.

Was the exemplary nature promised by President Emmanuel Macron just wishful thinking? What should tomorrow’s commitments be in this area?
