Is the metal deck worth it with Dialga-Ex?

In Pokémon TCG Pocket, Dialga-Ex is one of the most exciting new cards. What kind of deck is it worth? In the metal deck? Or somewhere else? We look at it.

This is Dialga-Ex in TCG Pocket: Dialga-EX is one of the new cards that have come into play with “collision of space and time”.

Dialga-EX has 150 KP on offer, as well as the attacks metal turbo and severe impact. Metal turbo causes 30 damage to two steel energies and then also places 2 steel energies on a Pokémon of your bank. Heavy impact causes 100 damage to two steel and colored energies, but without effect.

Dialga has no preliminary development, so it can be played as a basic Pokémon immediately. Overall, it is a Pokémon that other monsters can quickly supply steel energy, while it itself acts as a protective wall that can also hand out if it has collected enough energy. In which decks can you use it?

Dialga-Ex in combination with Melmetal-the metal deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Since Dialga-EX provides steel energy, it is obvious to use steel Pokémon. A deck variant has already made it in place A The animal list of the best decks in Pokémon TCG Pocket: the combination with Melmetal. Use the following monsters:

  • 2x dialga-ex
  • 2x Mertil
  • 2x melmetal
  • 2x Mew-Ex
  • With Dialga and Melmetal you have two defensively strong monsters that, if in doubt, can do a lot of damage. You can supply MEW-EX with energy via dialga so that it can copy the attacks of your opponent. This is useful if your opponents want to use strong attacks against you.

Which items? Are useful cards in such a deck:

  • Leaf
  • Giovanni
  • Lucia
  • Bump helmet
  • Pokéball
  • Research of the professor
  • Pokémon communication
  • X-initiative
  • Blue
  • These cards are typical supporters. Look that you have. But especially with the bump helmet from the new expansion, you can also annoy the opponent who gets 20 damage every time if he attacks Pokémon, which is equipped with it.

Alternatives: Combine Dialga-Ex with Yanmega or Schlurp-Ex

Two monsters seem to be as alternatives: the new Yanmega-Ex, or Schlurp-Ex.

Both act as monsters that offer strong attacks, but need colorless energies. Yanmega ex, for example, can do 120 damage with his attack, but loses energy with every use of the attack. So it benefits from getting a lot of energy through Dialga and being able to hand out.

SCHLURPLEK-EX, meanwhile, can set up 100+ damage for four colorless energies, but it throws a coin until number falls. For each time there is another 40 damage. This Pokémon can also quickly get the necessary energy through Dialga.

Both are cards with which you can cause more damage than with the above, pure steel structure. What were your first cards of the new expansion? Have you already found strong combinations?
