[Mis à jour le 9 novembre 2022 à 20h45] Released in 2019, “La vie scolaire” is broadcast on France 2 this Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 9:10 p.m. This social comedy produced by Grand Corps Malade and Mehdi Idir follows the daily lives of school life employees of a college in Seine Saint-Denis and the students who pass there every day. Unlike “Patient”, the duo’s first film, “La vie scolaire” is not directly inspired by a true story and it is not the singer’s youth stricto sensu that is described in the feature film.
However, “La vie scolaire” is still inspired by anecdotes from the youth of Grand Corps Malade and Medhi Idir: “It was a pivotal period that marked us a lot. But our memories date from the 90s. get back in the bath, go there to observe, explained Mehdi Idir to Allociné when the film was released. However, we knew that scenes experienced in 1994 could ring true in 2019. ” Among the real stories that we find in the film, in particular, of this pupil who always arrives late by inventing implausible excuses, or of the mathematics teacher who is inspired by a friend of the duo, “a graduate of physics born in Saint-Denis who always wanted to teach there”. So many elements that give the viewer the impression, when watching “School life”, of reliving his college years!
Synopsis – The daily life of a school located in Saint Denis, in the singer’s hometown.
