The restoration of the Dom seems to be progressing: after the good news in November – that the boy from Utrecht would emerge from his scaffolding suit faster than expected – the visitor lift closed earlier this month and the golden wind vane was placed back on the tower last week. All in all, the mega-restoration of Utrecht’s pride has passed many milestones and the operation seems to be as good as completed. Is that right?.
