A ten-month-old baby has been paralyzed after contracting polio type 2 in Gaza, Reuters reports. It is the first case in the area in 25 years, according to the WHO.

The two astronauts who are stranded on the international space station ISS can only be brought home in February next year, the American space agency Nasa announces.

Nearly 300,000 people are being forced to seek shelter in emergency camps after floods hit large parts of Bangladesh, rescue workers say.
