The participants in the citizens’ convention on the theme of the end of life will get to the heart of the matter by examining, from January, ten “priority issues”. This is an example of participatory democracy in France. We can also cite the National Council for Refoundation set up in September 2022 by President Emmanuel Macron, or previously the Citizens’ Convention for the Climate. What results for these consultations? Should the referendum be used more? How is it going abroad?
