Is Fantastic Beasts 4 or Harry Potter 8 coming? Chaos reigns in the Wizarding World

Is Fantastic Beasts 4 or Harry Potter 8 coming Chaos

The Harry Potter film series is cult, the Fantastic Beasts series a disappointment. At least when it comes to many fans and producer Warner. After all, each film in the spin-off series made less money than its predecessor, all of them were below the average box office of the main series. The first part of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is on TV today. Will there be a fourth part?

Harry Potter disappointment: Fantastic Beasts 4 unlikely

The Fantastic Beasts series was not officially ended, but a sequel with part 4 is very unlikely due to the financially sobering numbers. After a meeting in late 2023, Warner left recognize two plans for the Harry Potter future. None include more beast adventures.

In all likelihood, Warner will either reboot the Harry Potter main series or film the theater sequel Harry Potter and the Cursed Child written by JK Rowling as the 8th part. Option 1 means quicker money, option 2 will likely offend fewer fans of the original films. But Fantastic Beasts 4 is probably not worth waiting for. And that, although originally two more films with Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) were planned.
