Launching on August 18, 2022, She-Hulk: The Lawyer is a Marvel series on Disney+ that does everything a little differently than the MCU shows before her. In Episode 1 of the Marvel show, Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) meets her cousin Bruce Banner aka Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) – and shares their thoughts on a topic she just can’t seem to let go of: the question of if Captain America is still a virgin. “My theory is: Steve Rogers didn’t have a girlfriend before he joined the army”explains Jen. “Then he becomes Captain America and from then on he’s a symbol for America, has to go to the front, becomes a war hero.”

We know what happens after that: Steve Rogers is frozen, returns to the living decades later in Captain America: The First Avenger, and is then, to use Jennifer Walter’s wordsn, “pretty busy”. In her eyes, this only allows one conclusion: Captain America has never had sex. One Theory shared by many fans over the years and provoked heated debates and complex arguments.
Even those in charge could not answer the question unequivocally. Steve Rogers actor Chris Evans said years ago to Entertainment Weekly: “He’s probably still a virgin.” The authors of the Captain America trilogy, on the other hand, were convinced in past interviews that Rogers had already had sex.

Well, thanks to Disney+’s She-Hulk, we now know the truth. In a short scene after the credits of the first episode, there is another one Conversation between Bruce Banner and Jennifer Walters. And again it’s about one big topic: Steve Rogers, who seems obsessed with She-Hulk.
“Steve Rogers has done so much for his country and has never had the opportunity to experience sex‘ Jen slurs, collapsing at her cousin’s bar. “I mean, have you looked at that ass? That ass didn’t deserve to die a virgin. That’s so sad!”
Hulk takes a resigned breath and finally reveals the secret that so many fans have been struggling to solve for so long:
Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity to a girl on the USO tour in 1943.
The first episode ends with Jennifer Walters roaring euphorically, who suddenly doesn’t seem so drunk anymore: “I KNEW it! Captain America fucked!” Now we know it too. And Chris Evans.
