is a season 7 planned on TF1

SAT. TF1 broadcasts the last two episodes of Sam on January 24, 2022. Can we expect a sequel? Info on season 7 of Sam.

[Mis à jour le 24 janvier 2022 à 16h22] The broadcast of Sam season 6 ends this Monday, January 24, 2022 on TF1. Will the irreverent heroine then be back for season 7 of the series? Interviewed by TV Star on this subject, Natasha Lindinger, who plays the title role, revealed that “the writing of season 7 begins, like every year”. However, we must wait for the validation of TF1 to be sure of the return of the series. “We have always worked like that with production and TF1, that is to say, we do things one by one”, she later decided. The return of the series, however, seems to be on the right track, but viewers will have to be patient. If Sam returns for a season 7, it will certainly be broadcast at the beginning of 2023, like the previous episodes.

Broadcast from January 3 to 24, 2022 on TF1, season 6 of Sam has had a completely new look to put its heroine in new settings: the rock’n’roll teacher moves to a lost village, Saint-Paul Le Truchon, after having resigned from the National Education and after his break with Antoine. To repay her numerous debts, she finds herself obliged to accept becoming a French teacher in the village school. So many new features that have brought a breath of fresh air to the faithful of the TF1 series. If you missed the broadcast of the episodes on television, know that MyTF1 and Salto offer them in replay and streaming.

Natacha Lindinger began her career at Cours Florent in 1989, before being spotted at the Avignon Festival. Since the 1990s, she has been a recurring face on the small and big screen: on television, she notably distinguished herself in Hors du Temps by playing the role of Hélène Porter. It is also she who lends her features to Doctor Euphrasie Maillol in season 2 of Les Petits Meurtres d’Agatha Christie. She also shot in the comedy Hard, but also in the series Kaboul Kitchen before joining the cast of Sam. In the cinema, we could recognize her in A good person by Patrick Timsit. This multilingual actress (she also speaks English and German) is also part of the cast of the film nominated out of competition at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky. We could also recognize her on the big screen in Papa Lumière or more recently The incredible story of the Cheval postman, in the role of Garance. We also find the actress in the cinema of OSS 117: Red Alert in Black Africa, in 2021.

Why does Mathilde Seigner no longer play in Sam?

Natacha Lindinger has played Sam since season 2: she replaced Mathilde Seigner, the French actress who refused to continue the series after the success of season 1. The death of Valérie Guignabodet, her friend but above all director of the first season of the series, in February 2016, had marked her a lot. It was for her that she had accepted the role, she confided to the Parisian. But that’s not the only reason: “Even before Valérie’s death, I had decided not to shoot right away. It had tired me far too much,” she added. Natacha Lindinger therefore agreed to play this crazy French teacher who seduced the TF1 audience: “Replacing Mathilde Seigner was a great challenge. I think I raised her head high”, confided the actress in January 2018, in an interview with Télé-Loisirs
