Football in the Premier League and Championship is on hiatus, but not Stryktipset. This weekend, the coupon is instead filled up by matches from the European Championship qualifiers, League One and League Two.
We have analyzed and tipped all 13 matches, and you can find our betting suggestion below. We play 96 lines, which means five half guards, one full guard and seven spikes. If you want to bet on individual matches, we recommend that you check out free & risk-free bets. There are several different betting sites that offer it.
1. Spain – Norway, 1
Norway is missing its world star Erling Braut Haaland, and without him they don’t have much to offer to threaten Spain away from home. Martin Ödegaard is a fantastic player, but unfortunately he will be very lonely in this Norway. Here we have no doubt that Spain will win, and we leave the 1 alone.
2. Croatia – Wales, 1X
Croatia knocked Brazil out of the World Cup, and in the end took a World Cup bronze, but still we feel that it is not quite the same Croatia anymore as we saw a few years ago. It took penalties to knock out both Japan and Brazil, and then there was a 0-3 loss to Argentina. Obviously we’re dealing with a good national team, but it’s not a given that they’re just going to go out and clean Wales.
Wales have a strong defensive side and could get a draw here. Looking at the line distribution, we at least think the cross is worth including. We play 1X.
3. Israel – Kosovo, 1X
Two nations expected to settle for second place in the qualifying group behind Switzerland. At Kosovo we find, among other things, the Swedish technician Arbër Zeneli, who will start. These are two teams that are relatively even, with Israel being slightly stronger. The nations have never met before, and when they meet now we believe in a home victory or a shared pot. 1X.
4. Armenia – Turkey, 2
Real rivalry game. Turkey has great quality in the squad, but it has often been difficult to get it right as a team. Here, however, they face a very weak Armenia, who in their last seven international matches have six losses and one draw. Among the results we find 0-2 against Albania, 0-5 against Ukraine and 1-4 against Scotland. The latter two results came at home. Now, in addition, the team’s big and only star, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, has retired from the national team.
Turkey has done well of late, going 6-1-1 in their last eight internationals. Here, it will not be a difficult choice for us to leave the 2 alone.
5. Andorra – Romania, 2
Romania has ended up in a relatively easy group, where they have a good chance of taking second place behind Switzerland and thus reaching the European Championships. To do that, this is a must-win game. Andorra is ranked 153rd in the FIFA world rankings, while Romania is at 52nd. We believe in away wins here, playing a 2nd in a row.
6. Charlton – Wycombe, 2
Match from League One. Charlton have had a very difficult time at home this season, and not least recently. There have been one draw and three losses in the team’s last four home games. Wycombe are a better team, twelve points and three places ahead of Charlton. Wycombe are also fighting for a playoff spot, while Charlton have little to play for. Here we are surprised that Charlton are counted as favourites, and we are playing a straight 2nd.
7. Exeter – Accrington Stanley, 1
Next League One match. Exeter is having a good season as a newcomer, and is in 13th place. There is no line battle ahead this spring, neither at the top nor at the bottom. Accrington are in the relegation zone, but are just one point away from safe ground. The form is weak with one point in the last five, and here they also have both centre-backs suspended. We are playing the 1st in a row here.
8. Fleetwood–Lincoln, X
Middle meeting in League One. Two teams that both score a few goals and concede a few goals, which really paves the way for a cross. 0-0, maybe 1-1. Lincoln has crossed half (!) of his games this season. The last two matches between the teams have also ended in a draw. We play a nail cross.
9. Milton Keynes Dons – Morecambe, 1X
MK Dons and Morecambe are both fighting to avoid relegation from League One, and it’s a tight battle. MK Dons are on safe ground at the moment, while Morecambe are in the relegation zone. Only two points separate the teams. Here, there is a lot of anxiety on the field, which sets the stage for a match where the teams are more afraid of losing than eager to win. The X is therefore close at hand. If there is any team that will draw the longer straw, we believe in the in-form MK Dons, who have two straight wins. We play 1X.
10. Peterborough – Derby, 1
Important game for both teams, in the fight for a playoff place up to the Championship. Neither team shows any real stability, but both mix and match. What these teams have in common is that they are both clearly stronger at home, and here it is Peterborough playing at home. That means we play the 1st.
11. Portsmouth – Port Vale, 1X2
Newcomer Port Vale are in 16th place in League One, but looking at how they played, they could have been much higher up the table. In terms of expected points, they should actually be ahead of 9th-placed Portsmouth. With that in mind, it makes the most sense to strike from the right. But wasting goal chances and having the post out is a tendency that has been present at Port Vale all season, and they may simply not have the quality in the final third or in the team’s finishers. This can go either way, and we choose to celebrate.
12. Mansfield – Sutton, 1X
These two teams are both just behind the playoff spots, and both have the opportunity to fight for it until the end. Mansfield must be considered favorites above all given the home advantage here, and Sutton also suffers from not having a sharp goalscorer. We believe more in Mansfield, but do not rule out the cross. 1X is played here.-
13. Stevenage – Salford, 1X
Stevenage finished in 21st place last year, but this year they are 2nd in the table. An astonishing improvement. Here, however, you risk missing your best player in the form of Jordan Roberts. It is a heavy break, which can damage so much that you lose points here. We play 1X.
