Ironing tips – March 18 (3/18): Tips, suggestions & analysis

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

March 18, it’s time again for the Ironing tip! Here we give you our analysis of the coupon’s 13 matches.

This weekend’s Stryktipskupong offers us five matches from the Premier League, one from the FA Cup and seven from the Championship. In normal order, we play a 96-row system, which means seven spikes, five half-guards and one full-guard.

In this text, we go through all 13 matches from the coupon. If you wish to only bet on individual matches, we can advise you to consider using odds bonuses without wagering requirements. You can do that at Leo Vegas, for example.

  • Our system: 1 full guard + 5 half guards
  • Number of rows: 96 (SEK)
  • Betting page: Swedish games
  • 1. Chelsea – Everton, 1

Chelsea have won their last three games, and perhaps Graham Potter has finally got the team in order. After all, most people agreed that Potter was a good hire when he was appointed. Now Chelsea face Everton, who are in 15th place. The team has done better under new coach Sean Dyche, and clearly raised their scoring average, but the points were taken at home. Away, it has been a stick in three games under Dyche, and against a Chelsea that has woken up, we think it will be another clean sheet. We leave the 1 alone.

    2. Southampton – Tottenham, 2

There have been many ups and downs for Antonio Conte’s Tottenham this season. Against Nottingham Forest last time, Richarlison finally got the chance from the start, and took it by arranging a penalty, providing an assist and putting in a real bang goal, which unfortunately was ruled out for a narrow offside.

For Southampton, the season has mostly been down, and the team is last in the Premier League. Last time they lost at home to Brentford, and here we think it will be another loss. We nail the 2nd.

    3. Brentford – Leicester, 1

Brentford is having a stable season, where they are in 8th place and cruise almost half of their games. Leicester are completely out of form, and have lost their last five games in all competitions. Jamie Vardy has not been his best this season, with just one goal, and the team is suffering from the lack of someone who can score the goals in his place. Here we think that the value of Brentford is enough, and we play a single.

    4. Wolverhampton – Leeds, 1X

Two teams that are fighting to avoid relegation, and that here collide in what is supposed to be an anxiety-ridden meeting. We believe in a lot of fighting, few goals, and two teams more afraid of losing than eager to win. These conditions pave the way for the draw to be close at hand, but at the same time it would not be surprising if Leeds suffer another loss. We play 1X.

    5. Aston Villa – Bournemouth, 1

Aston Villa are showing good form, and have taken seven points from their last three games. Here you meet a team that you have a good chance of winning against, AFC Bournemouth. Bournemouth are in 18th place in the table and are having a tough time, although they made a splash by beating Liverpool last time. Here, however, we believe that one is thrown back to reality, and loses. Straight 1st.

    6. Manchester City – Burnley, 1

An FA Cup match sneaks onto the ticket, with Manchester City taking on Championship side Burnley. Here we will see Hjalmar Ekdal get the chance to play against City’s stars, even if someone like Erling Braut Haaland might be rested. Regardless of whether City rotates and airs the team, there is no question that the class difference is so great that they will win here. single

    7. Blackpool – Coventry, 2

Coventry are chasing the playoffs, and Viktor Gyökeres was responsible for another goal when they last extended their unbeaten streak by cruising against Wigan, which was probably seen more as two points lost than one won. But now they haven’t lost in eight games anyway.

For the fight for a playoff spot to remain realistic, you have to win games like this, against a Blackpool in the relegation zone. We think you can succeed with that, and we leave the 2 alone.

    8. Middlesbrough – Preston, 1X

Championship third-placed Middlesbrough face one of the league’s most in-form teams, in 11th-placed Preston. Preston have won three of their last five games, and are on a seven-game unbeaten run. Middlesbrough are also in good form, although they lost to West Brom four rounds ago.

Here, “Boro” are absolute favourites, but we dare not rule out that it will be a draw against a currently very hard-to-beat Preston. We play 1X.

    9. Queens Park Rangers – Birmingham, 1X

Two teams that are just above the relegation zone in the Championship, but still have seven points to spare until the line. Both teams show weak form, and one should be happy that the teams below are equally weak. However, losing here risks dragging you further into that relegation battle, and here it is important to avoid losing. We think we will see two waiting teams and a game with a lot of fight, where the cross is close at hand. If there is a team that comes out victorious from the battle, we believe in the home team QPR. 1X.

    10. Reading – Hull, X2

Reading has four straight losses, and has hardly found any further spring form. Here they face a Hull team that they defeated away from home in November, after a late decision in an uneventful match. Hull have shown decent form, and if there’s any team to win this time we think it’s them. But it might as well end in a draw. We play X2.

    11. Rotherham – Cardiff, 2

Bottom meeting between two teams just above the line. Anxiety-filled match, where a win could really be what takes the teams up to safer ground. Rotherham are coming off two consecutive defeats, but have home ground advantage. However, Cardiff are greatly undervalued by the Swedish people – while Svenska Spel gives them a 36 percent chance of winning, they have only been marked down to 29 percent. There we see a great game value, and nail the 2.

    12. Stoke – Norwich, 1X2

Stoke shows slightly better form than Norwich, but Norwich is on paper the stronger team. At the same time, Stoke has the advantage of home ground. We have a hard time predicting this match, which we think can end either way. We save the day.

    13. Sunderland – Luton, X2

Luton are the Championship’s most in-form side, winning four of their last five games. Sunderland are showing more dubious form, but have had some form and have shown they possess quality. Here we believe more in Luton, but do not rule out Sunderland getting points. We play X2.
