The war in which Hamas responded to the Al-Aqsa Flood operation launched on October 7 by Israel’s heavy bombardment of the Gaza Strip is intensifying day by day. While there were reports that rockets were fired into Lebanon and Syria by Israel, the USA sent aircraft carriers to the region to support Israel’s attacks. While concerns about the spread of the war were shaped by Iran’s involvement in the conflict, the ‘show of force’ of the Iranian army began.
“WE RETALIATED IRAN’S ATTACKS”
In the latest statement from the US military, it was announced that Iranian targets were hit, and it was stated that they were retaliating against the attacks of Iranian-backed militia groups against US military personnel in Iraq and Syria. The statement also included the following statement: “If the attacks of Iranian-backed groups continue, the USA will take additional measures. The USA will not leave the attacks on its soldiers in the region unanswered.”
2-DAY SHOW OF STRENGTH BY THE IRANIAN ARMY
Meanwhile, the Iranian Army Ground Forces started a large-scale military exercise that will last 2 days in Isfahan province.
According to Iran’s official news agency IRNA, missile, artillery, air, infantry, armored, airborne, electronic warfare and modern warfare units are participating in the land forces exercise called “1402 Power”.
More than 200 transport and attack helicopters participated in the large-scale exercise, which will last 2 days and will be held in the Nasrabad region of Isfahan, while units affiliated with the air force also provide support.
In the exercise, the combat and defense capacities of the land forces against possible threats will be evaluated.
