The Kayhan newspaper, run by the representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, claimed in its editorial today that the upcoming operation, unlike the previous one, will target areas deep inside Israel such as Tel Aviv and Haifa, strategic centers and the residences of Israeli officials who played a role in Haniyeh’s killing. According to the newspaper, Israeli ships traveling from the Indian Ocean to the Mediterranean will also be the target of heavy attacks.
As tensions escalated in the region following the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Iran’s threats to Israel further increased the tension.
THEY VOWED ‘REVENGE’
Iran and allied organizations in the region vowed “revenge” after the assassination.
Last night, the news anchor of Iran’s Channel 3 Television made a remarkable statement on live broadcast, saying, “The world will witness very important developments in the coming hours.”
MOBILITY IN THE MIDDLE EAST
The United States then decided to send additional warplanes and warships to the region.
On the other hand, airlines from many countries announced that they suspended flights to Beirut and Tel Aviv.
Following successive statements from Iran, no attack has taken place yet, but the region is still on alert.

According to the news on NTV, the Kayhan newspaper, run by the representative of Iran’s religious leader Ali Khamenei, recalled in its editorial today the operation carried out by Iran in Israel in April, which targeted only a few bases outside Israeli cities.
“THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN”
The newspaper’s headline read, “Countdown to revenge for Haniyeh’s blood.”
The report stated that the upcoming new operation, unlike the previous one, will target “areas deep inside Israel such as Tel Aviv and Haifa, strategic centers and the residences of Israeli officials who played a role in the killing of Haniyeh.”
“The next operation will be more diverse, dispersed and harder to prevent,” it said.
“SHIPS WILL BE HEAVILY ATTACKED”
According to the report, long-range and precision missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles will “definitely” be among the options on the table in Tehran’s retaliatory operation against Israel.
But unlike the April attack on Israel, the options will likely not be limited to two or three types of missiles and drones launched from just Iran, from 1,500 kilometers away.
ECONOMIC TARGETS WILL BE HIT
According to the newspaper, Israeli ships traveling from the Indian Ocean to the Mediterranean will also be the target of heavy attacks, and Israel’s economic targets will not be immune from military attacks.
The Kayhan newspaper also wrote that in the upcoming retaliatory operation, the Iranian army should take into account “painful human losses” as well as inflicting strategic damage.
