Iran: the opportunity “for the return to the nuclear agreement seems to be closing”

Iran the opportunity for the return to the nuclear agreement

A look back at the renewed tension this week between Westerners and Iran over Iran’s nuclear program. While the United States, France, Germany, the United Kingdom had the IAEA adopt a resolution in the middle of the week condemning the lack of Iranian cooperation in the nuclear talks, Tehran immediately retaliated with the withdrawal of 27 cameras from the International Atomic Energy Agency intended to monitor its nuclear activities.

Where are we today on relations between Westerners and Iranians on nuclear energy, have we reached a point of no return? To talk about it, Clément Therme, associate researcher at the International Institute for Iranian Studies (Rasanah) and lecturer at Sciences-Po Paris is RFI’s midday guest. He answers Jean-Baptiste Marot’s questions.
