One of the designated targets is said to be Iran’s nuclear facilities where uranium is enriched. The US has warned Israel about striking facilities and at the moment does not think that is the case.

Instead, it is believed that Israel will attack military targets and energy infrastructure in the country. But Gallant has only provided scant information to US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, writes NBC.

Iran’s government is said to be “extremely nervous” about retaliation, according to sources to CNN. Diplomatic discussions have begun with other countries to minimize the scale of the attack.
