The Foreign Ministry in Iran has called Sweden’s representative in the country to protest against the verdict against the Iranian citizen Hamid Noury, the Iranian regime tweets, something that Swedish Radio was the first to report.
Noury was convicted in Stockholm District Court on Thursday for murder and violation of international law. The now 61-year-old man was sentenced to life in prison and deportation for a serious violation of international law and murder, in connection with the executions of political prisoners in Iran in the summer of 1988.
TT is looking for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a comment.
