In Iran, at least twenty people have been arrested on suspicion of involvement with the Hamas leader Ismail Haniyyan murder, says New York Times.

Among those arrested are, among others, Iranian intelligence officers, military officials and employees of an inn in Tehran. They are suspected of being involved in the explosion that killed Haniya on Wednesday in Tehran.

According to the New York Times report, the explosive had been taken to Haniyya’s residence in advance.

Iran and the extremist organization Hamas have blamed Israel for the attack.
