iPhone 16 and 16 Plus still offer 60Hz refresh rate


The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus still offer a 60Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, users will need to upgrade to the 16 Pro series for 120Hz.

Apple’s ProMotion technology for displays offering a 120Hz refresh rateas we said above, is only available on the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models. The 16 and 16 Plus models feature Super Retina XDR displays with a 60 Hz refresh rate, like the 15 and 15 Plus. Apple itself says the following about the iPhone 16s: “Apple today announced the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, featuring a custom-designed A18 chip and new camera features that raise the bar on what iPhone can do. The iPhone 16 series also includes Camera Control, which introduces new ways to interact with the advanced camera system and helps users make the most special moments memorable quickly and easily.
