(K) A perfect home for disappointed Sims fans
What do the reviews say? The game was able to catch some Sims fans who are dissatisfied with EA’s handling of the series.
Sparx419 writes (via Steam): “If you love the life simulation genre, but are frustrated by the endless DLC model and the restrictions by the Sims 4, a look is always worth a look.”
Alicemad is certain (via Steam): “After playing the Sims for years, I can certainly say that this game is the future! EA ripped off quite a bit. Give us inzoi for a few years, and it will surpass the Sims in every respect.”
Anakin Skywalker strikes an even harder tone (via Steam): “The graphic in this game makes my PC sound like an international airport. If Inzoi is successful, there is really no reason for another Sims.”
With gameplay and technology, there is currently still the greatest need for improvement. There are many reviews, whether positive or negative.
This is how Choccyla (via Steam) writes: “The game is fun if it works, but I would still wait until it is polished before you buy the early access.” It is said that the game is frozen more often, which could only be fixed by restarting the PC. Nevertheless, there is a thumbs up.
Monsterfurby gives a thumb down and writes (via Steam): “It looks pretty and definitely has potential, but at the moment it doesn’t tell stories. […] If you are a Sims player who can spend hours in the CAS (“Create a Sim”) and Baumodus, it could be something for you. On the other hand, I tend more about the emergent storytelling and I’m rather disappointed at the moment. “
Many fans also praise that the developers go into feedback from the community. After a short protest, the team removed a controversial feature. You can read more about this in this article: Inzoi removes a controversial feature after being exposed to the last 24 hours of angry protests
