(Finance) – The ordinary and extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting of Infrastrutture Wireless Italiane (INWIT) approved the 2022 financial statements which closed with a Net income of 293,339,500.30 euros.
The Shareholders’ Meeting also approved the distribution of a dividend for the 2022 financial year of 0.3467 euros (gross of applicable legal withholdings) for each of the no. 960,200,000 ordinary shares outstanding on the ex-coupon date, with the exclusion of treasury shares in portfolio. The total dividend, which will be distributed on the basis of the ordinary shares outstanding on the ex-coupon date, is equal to Euro 332,901,340.00. The dividend will be paid from 24 May 2023, with coupon detachment on 22 May 2023 (in accordance with the Borsa Italiana calendar) and record date (i.e. the date of entitlement to the
payment of the dividend itself pursuant to art. 83-terdecies of the TUF) on May 23, 2023.
INWIT’s Shareholders’ Meeting has authorized for a period of 18 months starting from today’s date, thepurchase of treasury shares, at the service of the Incentive Plan and the PAD 2023 and 2024, in compliance with current Community and national legislation and the accepted market practices recognized by Consob; it also authorized their disposal without time limits.
The authorization was granted for the purchase of a maximum of n. 1,150,000 INWIT ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.12% of the share capital.
