South Korean investigators who have been unsuccessfully trying to arrest ousted President Yoon Suk-Yeol are asking the police to take over that part, Yonhap reports.
The anti-corruption unit CIO makes the request in a letter to the police. Hurry, the warrant expires at midnight, Monday.
On Friday, an attempt to arrest Yoon was unsuccessful. After a tense six-hour standoff, the CIO decided to call off the operation due to the security risks.
