Intimissimi calls a crisis meeting after Aftonbladets disclosure
Employees testify about wretched conditions

Published: Just now

Intimissimi calls crisis meetings after 200-second revelations about abysmal working conditions in lingerie company’s stores.

The store employees testify about how they are forced to work under miserable conditions with low wages. They are afraid of the bosses and are scolded if they go to the toilet during working hours.

According to information to Aftonbladet, Intimissimi has called some employees of the company to crisis meetings over the next few days.

– It is great that we are called if it leads to things getting better. But it is unnecessary if it is only done for the sake of appearance and there is no improvement, says a person with insight into the business.

According to information to Aftonbladet, only store employees and middle managers will be involved. Manuel Scarfone, Swedish CEO of Intimissimi’s parent company Calzedonia, will not participate in the meetings.

Scarfone has previously told 200 Seconds that he doesn’t recognize himself at all in the employees’ stories.

Bianca Ingrosso is the Swedish “ambassador” and the face of Intimissimi. She writes in an SMS for 200 seconds that “working conditions are good” at the company.
