(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Intesa Sanpaolo supports the World Meeting on Human Fraternityby title “Not alone – World Meeting on Human Fraternity“, underway today in St. Peter’s Square and in eight other squares around the world.
The event, strongly desired by Pope Francis and promoted by the ‘Fratelli Tutti’ Foundation, of which the Bank is an institutional supporter, includes meetings in the presence of thirty Nobel Prize winners, personalities and above all many, many young people, the world of associations, the third sector to be inspired by the fraternity expressed by the encyclical ‘Fratelli tutti’. L’the outcome will be a Declaration of Human Fraternity elaborated on the concepts of dignity, justice, brotherhood.
As part of the support for the important event desired by Pope Francis, the Group has also contributed to the creation with Coldiretti of the mini Village, located between via della Conciliazione and Piazza San Pietro (Piazza Pio XII), also set up tomorrow 11 June .
Also in San Pietro, Intesa Sanpaolo was the sole supporter of the restoration of the main dome, carried out by the Fabbrica di San Pietro. The works, made necessary by the degraded state of conservation, lasted a few years and involved the buttresses and mirrors of the Basilica to restore.
