The oldest case, the one involving the so-called Heul girl from Maarsbergen, has been a mystery since 1976. On Sunday, October 24 of that year, walkers found the body of a girl at the De Heul car park along the A12 motorway. She was hidden under dirt and branches. It was never made clear who she is or who was responsible for her death.
