This year’s theme on International Women’s Day is DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality. In this way, the UN draws attention to the increasing digital violence against women, such as violations on social media or the dissemination of sensitive information and images.

What is the reason for this increasing trend? Where is the foundation and what measures are required? And why is it helpful to understand this as an international security problem? These are questions that are explored in the seminar.
