The 60th International Agricultural Show closed its doors on March 3, 2024. This edition took place in the midst of a crisis in the agricultural sector and a few months before the European elections. It saw a large number of political figures parade and experienced a turbulent opening when demonstrators entered the aisles to protest against the arrival of the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron. Is this show a political stage like any other? We discuss it with Valérie Gas and Aurélien Devernoix, journalists in the political department of RFI.
