US President Joe Biden says it is his intention to run for a second term as president. At a press conference, he was asked if the mid-term election result affects the decision – and replied that it does not affect the plans, reports CNN.
– Our intention is to run again. That has been our intention. Regardless of the outcome of this election, says Biden.
The president says it’s possible he’ll announce if he’s running again early next year.
– My guess is that it would be early next year that we make that assessment, says Biden, and calls it a “family decision”.
