The ministry announced that Ukraine attempted to attack elements on Russian territory with UAVs. It was reported that 158 UAVs were shot down by Russian air defense systems, and that 2 of them were shot down in the capital Moscow and 7 in the Moscow region.
FIRE IN OIL REFINERY
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said in a statement on his Telegram channel that one of the downed UAVs fell into the technical building of the oil refinery in Moscow and a fire broke out in the building.
Pointing out that firefighters were working at the scene, Sobyanin drew attention to the fact that there were no injuries or deaths in the UAV attack.
FLIGHTS DELAYED
“There is no threat to people or the operation of the facility,” Sobyanin said.
Meanwhile, it was announced that flights at Moscow airports were postponed at night.
